Overview

This qualification is designed for those people who may encounter hydrogen vehicles (all variations) and require safety awareness. It is suitable for vehicle technicians and non-technical people such as managers, valeters, parts, sales and aftersales staff, event staff, vehicle recovery personnel, vehicle dismantlers, vehicle damage assessors, insurance companies, vehicle hire companies, and hydrogen vehicle drivers.

The course contains one mandatory unit covering:

- - the types of hydrogen vehicles available
  - hazards associated with hydrogen vehicle systems
  - working safely around hydrogen vehicles including refuelling

Learners will be assessed through a combination of workshop practical, online and written assessments.
